ABOUT
Canyon Meadows Child Care provides high quality program for preschool children ages 3-5.5 years old (must be potty trained) as well as children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 attending St. Catherine School.

Our Daycare (for children ages 3 - 5.5 years old only***) and Before and After School Care is a play-based program designed to offer opportunities for free choice and planned exploration that includes individual and group activities that are outlined to capture and divert their own interests.

Our program offers children a caring and safe environment where they can be comfortable and be with their friends at the start and at the end of school. We also offer homework assistance and home reading.

The children are given the option to engage in different kinds of activities such as exploring natural materials, art and crafts, science, physical fitness, and the ability to learn new techniques that would supplement schoolwork.
All activities are modified as needed to include all the different needs and based on children's interests.
Our Philosophy

Our program's philosophy is based on the belief that every child, regardless of race, age, or background, has a right to a safe and enjoyable environment where they can learn and develop physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. This environment must also foster mutual respect between the staff and the children.

Our dedicated educators facilitate children's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development through various activities, focusing on developmentally appropriate practices based on their interests to help them reach their full potential. They also foster connections with parents, families, and professionals.
